The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) is set to hold a protest demonstration at Jantar Mantar on Friday, September 19, at 2 PM. The event, titled “Kis Kis Ko Qaid Karoge?” (Whom Will You Imprison?) aims to bring attention to issues of alleged injustice over the past five years.
According to the protest poster, the demonstration seeks to “Stand united against 5 years of injustice.” The key demands of the protest include the release of all political prisoners and the rejection of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC), and National Population Register (NPR).
